About iLEAD Junior
iLEAD Junior is an exciting and dynamic program designed exclusively for young Muslims aged 13 to 16 years old. Our mission is to inspire and empower our young delegates, providing them with essential skills and knowledge to navigate through these critical years of their lives successfully. With a strong focus on academic, social, and interpersonal growth, iLEAD Junior offers a fun and enriching experience, laying the foundation for a promising future.
Our Collaborative Approach
In collaboration with The Prince's Trust, this three-month course runs fortnightly on Wednesdays after school. Our dedicated iLEAD delivery team, alongside The Prince's Trust trained mentors, leads engaging sessions centred around preparing our young delegates for a prosperous future.
Empowering Through Knowledge
iLEAD Junior covers a range of vital topics to equip our young delegates for the challenges ahead. The sessions include:
1. Getting to know yourself: Understanding values, identity, beliefs, and boundaries.
2. Confidence building: Cultivating self-assurance and self-belief.
3. Behaviours and perception: Nurturing positive conduct and understanding perceptions.
4. Social media: Exploring the positives and negatives of social media usage.
5. Skills and Strengths: Identifying individual talents and strengths.
6. Networking and creating a CV: Learning the art of networking and crafting an impressive CV.
7. Personal statement: Mastering the art of writing compelling personal statements.
"Reverse Mentoring" - Bridging Communities
One of the unique features of our program is "reverse mentoring." Through this, young delegates have the opportunity to teach the mentors about their religion, articulating their beliefs to a wider community. This builds confidence and fosters a deeper understanding of their faith.

Nurturing Mind, Body, and Soul
We care about the overall well-being of our delegates. Each session provides refreshments, and we ensure prayer facilities are available, encouraging participants to engage in salat (prayer).
